Looking for discounted Botox prices? Think twice, before you sign up.
Are you sure that what you are getting is really Botox sold by a reputable company, Allergan or Dysport sold by Medicis? Unfortunately, some of the medispas or health care providers purchase their injectables at substantial savings online from Canada or Asia. In the recent article published by Dermatology Times, experts worried that such establishments may have small accounts with Allergan through which they purchase 10 vials of Botox per year. Somehow however, they are injecting massive amounts of toxin. The question is, where are they buying the rest of their supply? We all know that what is in the syringe is as important as the skill of the injector.
In regard to filler injections, an important issue needs to be considered. Suppose one has a complication from an injection. Was it really Juvederm or Restylane that was used? Was the filler from Asia and purchased online? Was it expired? Has it been stored properly at the right temperature?
